- People first, always
Values We Don't Compromise On
Every program we run, every partnership we form, is measured against the same set of values. They keep us
accountable to the communities we serve and honest about the work still ahead.
Integrity
We act with honesty and transparency with donors, partners and the communities who trust us with their lives and stories.
Dignity & Respect
We treat every person we work with as a partner, never a statistic respecting their voice, culture and right to lead their own recovery.
Accountability
We measure our impact, report it openly, and hold ourselves responsible for the outcomes we promise.
Inclusion
We stand for equal access regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion or ability and center women, girls and marginalized groups in our work.
Local Leadership
We build with communities, not for them working through local partners and institutions who know the context best.
Commitment
We stay engaged long after the emergency response ends, because lasting change takes time and presence.

- WHY WE DO THIS WORK
Building Programs That Make Difference
We started LEAD International Development because we saw real needs in communities that weren't being met. We don't have all the answers, but we are committed to listening, learning and building programs that truly help.
"They didn't just bring aid they brought back
our sense of dignity."
