Peacebuilding
Helping communities move from conflict to lasting stability.
- Our Approach
Peace Is Built, Not Declared
Conflict doesn't end the moment fighting stops real peace takes years of trust-building, dialogue and shared recovery between communities that have been divided by violence. Our Peacebuilding programs work at the community level to reduce tension, resolve disputes and rebuild the social fabric that conflict tears apart.
We support local dialogue processes, train community mediators, and create shared spaces where divided groups can rebuild trust through practical cooperation whether that's shared access to water, joint livelihoods projects, or community-led reconciliation efforts. Peacebuilding is woven into our broader work in education, livelihoods and governance, because lasting stability depends on more than the absence of violence.
We also work with youth and women, who are often left out of formal peace processes, to ensure a wider range of voices shape how communities rebuild and reconcile after conflict.
