Maternal & Child Health

Protecting mothers and newborns through the moments that matter most.

  • Our Approach

Every Mother and Child Deserves a Fighting Chance

Pregnancy and childbirth don't pause for a crisis but in conflict, displacement and disaster, the care that makes them safe often disappears. Weakened health systems, damaged clinics and a shortage of trained health workers put mothers and newborns at far greater risk, even though most of these deaths are preventable with the right care at the right time.

Our Maternal & Child Health programs deliver essential care through every stage prenatal checkups, skilled support during birth, and postnatal follow-up for both mother and baby. We train and equip local midwives and health workers to provide safe deliveries and respond quickly to complications, so care doesn't depend on reaching a distant hospital.

Beyond birth, we stay with families through early childhood supporting nutrition, routine immunizations and growth monitoring, because a child's first years shape the rest of their life. Where health systems are stretched thinnest, this consistent care can be the difference between a family's greatest joy and its greatest loss.
